Hi. I am Rachel and you may have heard me referred to as the "web mistress". Well, that is my job - to make sure that you are up to date on such things as the Relay for Life Calendar, Community Events and the latest photos from around the community. I love photography and being creative and that is how my other nickname from Bill  - "digital diva" -  came about.

I am a born and raised native of Illinois and I spent most of my growing up years around the little town of Deer Creek. Our town was so small that the primary, middle and high school were consolidated with another little town called Mackinaw. My graduating class only had 56 students! I didn't realize how small that was until my first class in college was bigger than that!

I graduated high school a half year ahead of my peers and started college in computer programming in Savannah, GA. There, I was recruited into the Marine Corps and was awarded the job of Air Traffic Control Communications Technician with a specialty in microminiature component repair. Basically, I was the repair tech for FAA and Base Air Traffic control radios. I met my husband at a Rifle Competition while at MCAS Miramar and we were married two months later. Both of us had an aptitude for fixing and repairing computers and so when we got out of the service shortly before 9/11, we wanted to open a repair shop in Cadiz. However, our dream didn't become a reality until January of 2006 when Computer Corps became licensed business.

While repairing and building computers,  I finished college with a Bachelor's of Science in Telecommunications Systems Management from Murray State May of 2007. Not long after that, I was offered a job in the sales department here, which I gladly accepted because after my first interview here, I knew I had found where I wanted to work. Shortly after starting here, it was discovered I had a creative aptitude for the website and photography. I have learned a lot since coming here and the best is yet to come.
