Hi, I'm Beth, and I've been helping area businesses reach their sales quotos for more than twenty years. My undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky includes a Minor in Marketing, and my Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University is in Corporate Communications. Although I am responsible for all aspects of our company, helping local businesses succeed is the best part of my job as Group General Manager for Ham Broadcasting Company, Inc. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than to watch a client grow his or her business. Hi, I'm Amy and I am nearly a Hopkinsville native (I've been in Hoptown long enough you can call me that!) and a graduate of Hopkinsville High School. I graduated from Western KY University in 1989 with a degree in speech communications. My minor was in broadcasting. Upon college graduation, I began working at TV43 (WKAG TV) in sales, with a short stint as co-host of the morning show "Sunrise." I left TV 43 in 1993 to work in my family's business, where I was advertising and marketing director. I like to say that I "sat on the other side of the desk for a while." Hi this is Cindy Allen Lax, Senior Account Executive for Ham Broadcasting. What is a Senior Account Executive? That means I've been here the longest. I just celebrated my 14th year with the company and still love my job. I have been in sales all 14 years. I enjoy the challenges that the sales world brings--personal goals, company goals and of course, my customers' goals. I enjoy putting together plans to help my customers market their business and their products. I love a challenge! BECKY WILLIAMSON - ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Hi, I'm known as Becky "K" around the stations. I was born in Manchester, England. Yes, that's Manchester from across the pond in Great Britain!!! When I was 5 my family moved to Scotland where I was raised. I graduated from Glasgow University with an Honors Degree in Management, and I majored in Marketing. When I came to America, I worked in marketing for Furniture and Wallpaper For Less and Kids Rooms To Grow for 3 years. After marrying a born and raised Hopkinsville man, KC Williamson, and moving to Hopkinsville, I spent 4 years as a "stay at home mom" with my two daughters, Chloe, 5, and Skye, 2. Last year, I began working for Ham Broadcasting. I am currently part-time so that I can still have precious time with my daughters. My husband opened a Radio Shack in Cadiz in April 2006, and I assist him in marketing that business. I feel my experience in being on both sides of the fence, retail and advertising, truly helps me to understand your business needs. CARRIE McGinnis - ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Carrie has been a part of the WKDZ/WHVO crew in different capacities over the last three years, returning to the airwaves in May of 2007 with her own afternoon show, "On the Air with Carrie." A couple of months later ... she came on board full time, and served in the news department as the Noon and 5:00 p.m. News Anchor. Currently, Carrie anchors the Noon News Edge and continues to host her popular live afternoon show on WKDZ 1 - 3pm.
